Replicas of the Nina and the Pinta, two of Christopher Columbus' three ships, motor down Skull Creek past the J. Wilton Graves bridge on Tuesday en route to Beaufort. The two vessels will dock Wednesday at the Downtown Marina and will be open to the public  Thursday until their departure May 4.

Two reproductions of the Pinta and Maria, two of the three boats that made up the exploration party of Christopher Columbus when he arrived in America, will be open for tours in Beaufort for the next few days.
