Congregation Beth Yam held a community seder Tuesday. The seder, held on the second day of the eight-day Passover holiday, is a family ritual prescribed by Jewish law and is based on the retelling of the story of the liberation of the Israelites from bondage and their exodus from Egypt. Tuesday's event featured a traditional seder meal.
