There was a sea of green at Hilton Head’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The 35th annual Hilton Head Island St. Patrick’s Parade drew thousands of people thanks to some beautiful weather, fun floats and great bands.

Highlights of the parade included an appearance by the Express Clydesdales, the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile and The Great Big Idaho Potato Truck ‘Spud’.

Pipe and Drum bands came from as far away as the Boston Police department to march in this year’s parade.

Most importantly, the spectators and participants in the parade did not disappoint when it came to wearing green in honor of the Irish holiday.

Some were more subdued and just wore green articles of clothing, while others went all out to get into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit.

There were even dogs that were painted green.

Make sure to check out our gallery, featuring some of the floats and best dressed people at the parade today.
