Hospice Care of Lowcountry starting new, faith congregation-based program

Hospice Care of the Lowcountry is implementing a new program to help people receive quality end-of-life care sooner in their diagnosis, including those who may not be ready to stop active treatments and would benefit from the hospice's palliative home health care program.

The new program, The Watchman Program, will identify and train representatives in faith congregations. The representatives will serve as a liaison between hospice and the place of worship, conveying the needs of the family as soon as they arise. All local congregations are able to participate.
