RE/MAX agents top sales listRE/MAX agents led the 2013 list of the top 1,000 real estate sales professionals in the U.S. as measured by the number of properties sold per agent. Published by The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends, "The Thousand" ranked the top 250 agents and top 250 teams for transaction sides and sales volume. When the 500 transaction standings are combined, RE/MAX agents hold 98 places. Forty-three RE/MAX agents were ranked among the Top 250 individuals for most transaction sides. Tom Beavor joins Weichert team Weichert, Realtors-Coastal Properties welcomes Tom Beavor to the agency's sales team. Beavor has lived on Daufuskie Island since 1995 and started Daufuskie Properties of South Carolina in 1998. Lowcountry Paver joins island projectLowcountry Paver in Hardeeville has been chosen to provide 90,000 square feet of HydraShed Permeable Paver for the Shelter Cove Towne Center rejuvenation. The center will overlook Broad Creek on Hilton Head Island and will have 295,000 square feet of retail, dining and living space. HydraShed Permeable Paver is the newest addition to the company's "Green Collection." The Green Collection is a line of permeable and pervious pavers that provide a solid, strong surface while allowing water to filter to the soil. This process helps the environment by reducing the amount of runoff entering area waters.

Maria Skrip of RE/MAX Island Realty on Hilton Head Island recently completed a luxury home marketing training course offered by The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. The course covered demographics of the affluent, lifestyle segmentation, trends and amenities in today's luxury homes, and creating a marketing plan for the multimillion dollar property. Covert Aire recently donated $3,000 to the BackPack Buddies of Bluffton summer program. BackPack Buddies is a signature program of Crossroads Community Support Services with the goal of feeding hungry children. The program plans to serve almost 300 children in the Bluffton area at a cost of $8,400.
