Real Estate Briefs for week of Sept. 15

  • The Hilton Head Area Association of Realtor's 40th anniversary gala will be held from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Nov. 2 at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa. Dinner, dancing and reminiscing are planned for the evening. The Headliners will perform. Current and past Realtors, affiliate members and local business associates are invited to attend.   • Belfair in Bluffton has received the Platinum Club of America designation and is ranked among the top 35 residential communities in the country. Rankings are determined, every three years, by Platinum Club of America through responses to questionnaires sent to club managers and presidents of private clubs belonging to Club Managers Association of America (CMAA). Clubs are ranked based on membership, tradition and culture, amenities, governance, and quality of management and staff.
  • The Low Country Property Management Association will meet at noon Tuesday at the Country Club of Hilton Head in Hilton Head Plantation. The speaker will be Mitch Thoreson, attorney at law speaking on collections and evictions. All are invited to attend. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.   • The Greenery was recently awarded an overall safety achievement award from the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET). The award, part of PLANET's annual Safety Recognition Awards Program, honors those companies with thorough, high-performing safety programs that create and maintain safe work environments in the green industry.
