Hilton Head law office adds attorney, paralegal

The Law Offices of Catherine West Olivettion Hilton Head Island has hired an attorneyand a real estate paralegal.

Attorney Emily Boatwright specializesin loss mitigation and real estatelaw including short sales,deed-in-lieu and mortgagesettlements. Before law school,Boatwright worked at the SouthCarolina Department of NaturalResources. During law school,she clerked at Massey, Eaton& Associates and owned andoperated two restaurants withher husband in Columbia. Herbachelor's in marine scienceand her law degree are from theUniversity of South Carolina.

Bonnie Horan is a real estateparalegal assisting in the coordinationof residential realestate matters, including preparing closingdocuments related to refinancing, short-salesand purchases.

Horan has 15 years of experience in thelegal profession and has worked for severallaw firms in the Hilton Head area. An Ohionative, she has a bachelor's degree in socialwork from Kent State University and an ABAparalegal certification from The NationalCenter for Paralegal Training in Atlanta.
