The former music director of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra will lead a men's chorus Friday to raise money for The Deep Well Project and First Presbyterian Day School.
"Songs of War and Peace," a concert presented by the Mary Green Men's Chorale, will start at 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church Hilton Head Island.
The concert is the first to be presented by the choral group of 15 to 20 male voices, which will be supported instrumentally by a small combo.
Green was music director of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra for 13 years while working with other musical projects around the country.
