Tradition offers free wireless Internet and video conferencing to public

Tradition Hilton Head is offering the public free access to both wireless Internet in its welcome center and golf clubhouse and video conferencing in its board room.

The residential and commercial development in Hardeeville already had both services for internal use and recently decided to offer them to the public as a gesture of community outreach, said Martin Sauls IV, public relations director for Tradition Hilton Head.

The services could be particularly useful to businesses and students, he said.

“We’re here as a resource to facilitate their needs,” Sauls said.

The services are being offered 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

Company officials ask users of the video conferencing system to reserve it by calling 843-208-5300.

The wireless Internet is available without a reservation.
