Look for this local brewery when you have time to kill at the Savannah airport
Southbound Brewing Co., out of Savannah, has opened a taphouse at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport.
The microbrewery is in the “Savannah Square” section of the airport, according to a release by the airport.
The taphouse also has pool tables for those looking for a way to stay entertained while waiting for a flight.
Southbound Brewing Company, at 107 E. Lathrop Ave., released its first beer in South Carolina in 2013, according to its website.
Another local favorite, Leopold’s Ice Cream, opened with a kiosk at the airport in June. It opened a full-service parlor in the airport late last year.
