Beaufort police say a 23-year-old Burton man is responsible for shooting a bouncer in the back at a Beaufort nightclub early Sunday.
Bryant Reviere of Poppy Hill Road is wanted on charges of assault with intent to kill and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a violent crime, said Police Chief Matt Clancy.
Police say a bouncer of Club Insomnia on Boundary Street was trying to eject two unwanted patrons at 2 a.m. when a fight erupted. During the skirmish, investigators say, Riviere shot the bouncer once in the back.
Clancy said Riviere should be considered armed and dangerous.
