Poseidon Coastal Cuisine opens Monday on Hilton Head Island.
The restaurant sits beside the nearly completed marshfront park at Shelter Cove Towne Centre.
It boasts an oyster bar, an outdoor dining area and a rooftop bar with views of Broad Creek. The 17,000-square-foot restaurant cost more than $3.5 million to construct, owner Steve Carb said.
The second-story bar includes a VIP lounge, a wraparound porch with couches and chairs, and what marketing director Lindsy Bentz called the largest TV screen in the area.

Carb said the restaurant and rooftop for patrons 21 and older bring something not seen before on Hilton Head.
"I think it will be a gamechanger for nightlife on Hilton Head," he said Friday. "There's a void in the marketplace for people to dress up, go out, have dinner, listen to live music and go dancing."
To that end, Poseidon will host line-dancing every Wednesday, including lessons and a live country band in the rooftop bar.
The restaurants hours are lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and dinner from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The rooftop bar will remain open as late as 2 a.m. on weekends.
Poseidon is the 10th restaurant for Carb's Hilton Head company, SERG Group. It is connected to Coastal Provisions Co., a clothing store also owned by SERG.
The facility will be a commercial cog at Shelter Cove Towne Centre.
The mid-island shopping center has had several stores open this year alongside anchors Kroger and Belk. Those stores include Copper Penny, Palmetto Running Co. and Heritage Fine Jewelry.
Blanchard & Calhoun Commercial, which owns the center, also plans as many as 240 high-end apartments. A five-story complex will rise on the Kroger-side. As many as 50 two-story apartments will be built on the Belk-side.
Construction should start in early 2015 and be completed in 2016, company president Mark Senn has said.
