A reporter for The Wall Street Journal chronicled her six-day coastal trip from southern Georgia to Charleston and highlighted several Lowcountry destinations along the way in a June 13 article in the newspaper.

Hudson's Seafood House on the Docks on Hilton Head Island and The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton were among the locations the reporter visited. Also listed were the Bluffton Oyster Co. in Bluffton, and David's Roastfish and Cornbread on Hilton Head.

Moving north, the reporter stopped by the Steamer Oyster and Steakhouse on Lady's Island and the Rhett House Inn in Beaufort. She also went to the Frogmore community, stopping by What's in Store and the Red Piano Too on St. Helena Island. She ended her visit to Beaufort County with a meal at the Shrimp Shack on St. Helena.
