Occupation: owner and director of Bluffton Academy
Go-to dinner: Fiesta Fresh
Biggest pet peeve: "I don't like rude people," Arnold said. "I think life is too short."
Hobbies: Traveling, shopping, riding her bike, going to the beach
Favorite mommy moment: Seeing her two children play together and giggle
Most challenging moment: Arnold's son Alex has a severe nut allergy. She discovered the problem when he was 2 years old and broke out into hives after eating peanut butter. "It's such a scary allergy," she said. "It's life-threatening." She said it's a challenge making sure Alex never has anything with nuts or anything that has even been processed in the same facility as nuts. She brings her own cupcakes and ice cream to birthday parties and other events. And she makes sure to buy candy that Alex is able to eat on Halloween.
Stress reliever: Massages and pedicures
Advice for other moms: "Always make time for yourself, which we all have trouble doing," Kristen said. "And enjoy each moment with your children because they go so fast."
