To endowment fund
The volunteers, staff and board of directors at Bluffton Self Help extend their appreciation to the Long Club Community Endowment Fund for its 2011 grant.
We wil put this money toward the purchase of two industrial freezers for the storage of perishable food.
With these freezers, Bluffton Self Help will be able to accept and store more protein and dairy food items, which are essential for nutritional health. Food is distributed at the Bluffton Self Help office at 10 a.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Thank you Long Cove Club Community Endowment Fund for helping us feed our neighbors.

To Gruby's, All Saints
Congregation Beth Yam of Hilton Head Island would like to thank Gruby's Restaurant of Hilton Head Island and Bluffton and All Saints Episcopal Church of Hilton Head Island for supporting our Yom Kippur "Break the Fast" this year at the conclusion of services Oct. 8.
The event was held in the community hall of our gracious neighbor, All Saints Episcopal Church, which was able to comfortably accommodate the more than 170 people in attendance.
Gruby's Restaurant of Hilton Head Island and Blufton donated, prepared and served the food in honor of its 25th anniversary and Congregation Beth Yam's 30th anniversary.
The food was delicious and plentiful, and we are extremely grateful for their generosity and commitment to our community.

To The Bargain Box
As it becomes more challenging economically to maintain services for victims of domestic violence in Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties, Citizens Opposed to Domestic Abuse relies on community donations to continue its work.
Once more The Bargain Box of Hilton Head Island, with its generous grant, has enabled CODA to maintain 24-hour services ensuring someone trying to reach out for help or shelter will find a knowledgeable advocate available at all times.
Having a staff member on-site is also a necessity for the safe operation of the shelter itself.
The Bargain Box is a boon to our community and those of us who may need to reach out for help in critical moments of our lives.
CODA thanks The Bargain Box for its support and assistance.
