Congregation Beth Yam continues to have a hit with its broadcasts of Live from NY's 92nd Street Y speaker series.
After a successful first run last year, the congregation restarted airing simulcasts of the live discussions with world leaders, experts, artists and other notables earlier this month.
The first installment of the spring series featuring Steve Jobs biographer Walter Isaacson had an audience of about 130 people, said Beth Yam organizer Marty Slagowitz.
The next installment starts at 8 p.m. Feb. 2 at the congregation, 4501 Meeting St. on Hilton Head Island. Larry Summers, a former adviser to President Barack Obama, will be discussing the economy with law professor Thane Rosenbaum.
The lecture series from the Manhattan cultural center is broadcast live via satellite and gives far-off viewers an opportunity to email questions directly to the panel.
