Leslie Elizabeth Ruddy of Lansing, Mich., and Benjamin Michael Anderson of Beaufort celebrated a reaffirmation of their marriage ceremony at 2 p.m. March 9, 2013, at the Depot Chapel on Parris Island. The Rev. Peter John Sheehan of the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps. officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gregg Ruddy of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Lisa Sisco of Orlando, Fla. She is a graduate of Grand Ledge High School in Lansing, Mich., and studied communication at American Military University in Charlestown, W. Va. She is a firefighter in the United States Coast Guard and stationed in Miami Beach, Fla.
The groom is the son of Doug Anderson of Charlotte, N.C., and Julia Anderson of Beaufort. He is a graduate of Beaufort High School and is a Petty Officer Boatswaines mate third class in the United States Coast Guard. He is stationed at Fort Pierce, Fla.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Gregg Ruddy, and her brother Nicholas Ruddy. Maid of Honor was Paulie Plunkett of Lansing, Mich., friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brooke Sisco, sister of the bride, and Nicole Shepard, friend of the bride, both of Lansing, Mich.; and Castle Ramsey of Miami Beach, Fla., friend of the bride.
Best Man was Mark Anderson of Beaufort, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Walter Urban of Solomons Island, Md., friend of the groom; Nicholas Ruddy of Lansing, Mich., brother of the bride; and Nicholas Jolicoeur of Yorktown, Va., friend of the groom.
The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos. They live in Boca Raton, Fla.
