The Beaufort County Board of Education will meet Friday and Saturday for full-day sessions on the school district's strategic plan at the school district's offices at 2900 Mink Point Blvd.
On Friday, the strategic plan steering committee will convene at 9 a.m. and overview of strategic planning and its process will be given, then the committee will "take stock" of over-arching topics, including student well-being, personnel, student enrollment and facilities, finances, curriculum and instruction. In the late afternoon, the group will focus on long-range goals for the district. The meeting is expected to end at 4 p.m.
On Saturday, the group will reconvene at 9 a.m. The day will be spent further discussing the long-range goals. The meeting is expected to end at 3 p.m.
