Savor authentic northern and southern Italian, Continental and Mediterranean cuisine. Every dish is made to order including the delicious pasta fajiole and minestrone soups and warm house-made bread. From Bistro Mezzaluna's regular menu, choose from more than 50 Items including nightly specials, steaks, bracciole, veal chops, a meat medley marsala, veal scaloppini and the house specialty, "Osso Bucco." Most entrees are $17-$25.95. Finish with a coffee, cappuccino, espresso or scrumptious dessert including housemade cannolis.From 5 to 6:30 p.m. during the summer, Bistro Mezzaluna offers a "sunset menu," with 24 entrees priced from $14-$16.95. These dinners, served in the main dining room and on the patio, include bread, pasta, dessert and a glass of wine.
Bistro Mezzaluna's newest offering is a creative tapas menu. Choose from a small filet mignon, sausage stuffed banana peppers, ahi tuna, tenderloin, salmon Carpaccio and others. Tapas plates are $8-$15 and served in the bar/lounge area.
Currently, live entertainment at Bistro Mezzaluna includes Kris Tokarksi on grand piano Mondays at 6:30 p.m. until the end of July. A student at Berkeley School of Music, he specializes in classical music and original compositions. On Wednesdays starting at 7 p.m.,"First Lady of Jazz" Teri Rini Powers performs. She is a locals' favorite vocalist and pianist who has played with Duke Ellington and Stan Kenton. Thursday through Saturday, join the party with the band Target, for Motown and Shag tunes and a high energy presence that encourages dancing.
