State officials have found no human cases of swine flu in the Lowcountry.

Local hospitals: People have arrived at Beaufort Memorial Hospital's emergency room reporting symptoms, but tests were negative. Hospital officials encourage people to visit the emergency room only if sent by a doctor or if symptoms are severe. No cases reported at Hilton Head Hospital.

Volunteers in Medicine: Checking masks supplies as dictated by flu-scare protocol.

"We're looking for it, but as of today, we haven't seen it," said Frank Bowen, medical director of the Hilton Head nonprofit. "That's a good thing."
