A screening of "Sea Island Secrets," which won the Beaufort International Film Festival award for best documentary in 2011, will be held 7 p.m. March 20 at the Beaufort History Museum, 1911 Boundary St.
The movie features outdoorsman Gibbes McDowell and archeologist Chester DePratter as they explore the islands of the Lowcountry. McDowell, DePratter and producer Mike Hudson will all be on hand to take questions following the film. A reception starts at 6 p.m. Cost is $10 for members, $15 for nonmembers.
