While the judges on "American Idol" didn't jump out of their seats for Candice Glover this week, they still loved her.
The St. Helena Island native sang the Beatles' "Come Togther" Wednesday night, performing in the Top 9. The theme this week was the "Lennon-McCartney Songbook and The Beatles."
“I love seeing you with this whole other vibe going on tonight, kind of like the rock chick side of you,” judge Keith Urban said. “I thought that was absolutely killer.”
Judge Nicki Minaj thought the vocals were stellar, but said she wanted Glover to show more attitude in her facial expressions.

Judge Randy Jackson responded: "I don't know what's going on in your face, but the voice is crazy. I love to see this playful side of you. You can own it because you got it."
Judge Mariah Carey complimented Glover's song choice.
Glover, whose parents were in the audience as she sang, will find out if she advances to the Top 8 during the results show Thursday night, which runs from 8-9 p.m.
Last week, Glover had to say goodbye to contestant Curtis Finch Jr., who was eliminated. Glover said recently that Finch is one of her closest friends on the show. After he was eliminated, Glover was the first to reach him onstage and hug him.
"I love her so much because she is an incredible gift," Finch said last Friday. "She will be fine because the tears are going to have to be wiped away, so she can kill it next week."
