The Hilton Head Island-based Professional Tennis Registry will host the second annual Directors of Tennis Conference from Oct. 22 to Oct. 24 at the Shipyard Beach Club.
"We recognize that the tennis industry needs to offer more business development opportunities for tennis directors," PTR chief executive officer Dan Santorum said in a release. "After the success and positive feedback from last year's Directors of Tennis Conference, we know PTR is on the right track to strengthening our profession, tennis facilities and our sport."
The conference will feature experts presenting on a wide spectrum of topics to allow for a broad-based learning experience. Each day will close with peer-to-peer roundtable discussions so attendees can brainstorm and share their best practices.
The event is limited to 75 attendees who are directors of tennis and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Topics relevant to directors of indoor, resort, country club and private facilities will be addressed by a wide-ranging faculty.
PTR is the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals with more than 14,600 members in 117 countries and is dedicated to educating, certifying and servicing tennis teachers and coaches around the world in order to grow the game.
