MLB player to host pitching clinic today at Beaufort Academy

Texas Rangers pitcher Kevin Millwood will be the lead instructor for a pitching clinic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Beaufort Academy on Lady's Island.

Players interested in participating can register before the camp starts at 9 a.m. at the Beaufort Academy baseball field.

Millwood, the son of Beaufort Academy athletics director Mike Millwood, went 13-10 with a 3.67 ERA this season, his 13th season in the majors and his fourth with the Rangers. He has a career record of 155-121 with a 4.02 ERA.
