Wind rules second round at Players Amateur

When Daniel Woltman signed up to play in this year's Players Amateur at Belfair Golf Club's West Course, he figured to have plenty of reason for optimism. Winning scores of 22- and 24-under par in the last two events will do that for an admittedly aggressive golfer like Woltman. (full story)

Hilton Head High picks Updike to take over boys basketball team

Ken Updike has had a plan in place for rebuilding a high school basketball program for 10 years. At each stop in his coaching career during that time, he's adapted the plan -- which he presents in a booklet -- to better suit the position.
