On Monday, former Whale Branch standout Dee Delaney got his chance to perform at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
Delaney ran a 4.46 in the 40-yard dash, which ranked him in the top 20 of defensive backs at the Combine. He benched 225 times and also 32 1/2-inch vertical jump and broad jump of 120 inches.
Some of Delaney’s other numbers were 6.9 second cone drill and 4.2 seconds in the 20-yard shuffle. He measured at 5-foot-11 inches and weighed 200 pounds.
Delaney started his career at Citadel and was part two Southern Conference titles. He finished his career at Miami this season
