A second-quarter offensive surge powered Hilton Head Island to a 73-51 victory over Battery Creek on Friday night.
After settling for a 13-13 tie in the first period, the Seahawks ripped off a 23-6 run to close the initial half en route to their fourth straight win to start the season. They never trailed after the outburst.
Bryce Singleton led Hilton Head Island with 17 points and Tywuan Pope was close behind with 16. Chris Washington and Trevor Wright each added eight points.
Ja’Kobie Wilson led the Dolphins with 13 points and Theo Blackman chipped 11.
