Bluffton 60, Colleton County 49: The Bluffton High School boys basketball team made a season-high eight 3-point shots Friday night in Walterboro en route to a 60-49 win at Colleton County.
"We played pretty well," Bluffton coach Brett Macy said.
Jae Middleton finished with 19 points and D.J. Dobson had 18 for the Bobcats, who built a 20-point lead during the second half. B.J. Hill added nine points in the win.

"We made a lot of shots," Macy said. "Had a pretty good zone offense, got some open looks."
The Bobcats (9-3 overall, 2-0 Region 8-AAAA) are in action again at 8 p.m. Saturday, hosting Ridgeland-Hardeeville in a non-region game.
Latrell Nieves scored 14 points and Jami Sanders had 12 for Colleton County.
Thomas Heyward Academy 80, Beaufort Academy 44: Four players scored in double figures as the Rebels earned their first SCISAA Region 1-AA win of the season.
Davis Owens led Thomas Heyward with a game-high 24 points, Dylan Tillotson chipped in 14, Seth Jones scored 12 and Collin Roach 11.
Tucker Trask paced the Eagles with eight points.
The Rebels (7-7, 1-2) next play at Bible Baptist on Tuesday.
Summerville 71, Beaufort High 61: The Eagles came up short in a back-and-forth game dominated by the 32-point performance of the Green Wave's John Jenkins.
Kendrick Colvin led Beaufort High with 16 points. Jawan Mack and Otis McLain added 14 points each for the Eagles, and Adonis Grant scored 11.
Beaufort High (12-2, 1-1 Region 8-AAAA) faces a quick turnaround with Saturday's game at Burke.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville 69, Garrett Academy Tech 55: T.J. Frazier racked up 28 points and four rebounds to help the Jaguars oust visiting Garrett Tech.
Nazair Wilson added eight points, six rebounds and three steals for the Jaguars (8-4 overall, 5-1 Region 6-AA). De'Vantae Robinson finished with nine points and Trenard Ferrell scored eight.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville plays a non-region game at Bluffton at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Whale Branch 76, Bethune-Bowman 47: Justin Rhode scored 25 points, Devonta Glover added 12 and newcomer Jay Middleton contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Warriors remained undefeated in Region 5-A.
Denzel Daniel added nine points, David Lamb had five, and Chavonne Simmons and Marlon Williams each scored four for Whale Branch (13-3 overall, 3-0 region), which plays Tuesday at Allendale-Fairfax.
Northwood Academy 56, Hilton Head Prep 54: Brennan Mikell had a putback at the buzzer, but officials determined it was too late, sending the Dolphins to defeat in North Charleston.
John Eck finished with 20 points and nine rebounds for Prep, but fouled out with five minutes left. Randy Young had 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Mikell had 14 points and five rebounds for the Dolphins (8-5 overall, 1-4 region), who were dealing with a flu bug in their roster this week.
Prep plays at Bethesda Academy in Savannah at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Douglas Dwight scored 19 points to lead Northwood.
Pinewood Prep 67, Hilton Head Christian Academy 33: Playing without Brad Meccariello, Zach Polk and C.T. Davis, who were on a school trip, the Eagles were overwhelmed at region power Pinewood Prep.
Frank Smith had nine points and Chris Edwards scored eight to lead the Christian Academy (5-5 overall, 1-2 region), which hosts Bible Baptist at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Dexter Coaxum scored 15 points and Michael Wright added 12 for Pinewood.
Pinewood Prep 75, Hilton Head Christian Academy 73: Missing four players -- three of them starters -- because of a school trip, the Eagles suffered their first loss of the season, dropping a region game to Pinewood Prep in Summerville.
In addition to starting short-handed, the Eagles also had two players foul out of the game. Despite all that, Hilton Head Christian (9-1 overall, 3-1 region) cut a 13-point deficit to one on Hannah Reynolds' 3-pointer with eight seconds left. After a Pinewood Prep free throw, Monica Bundy's desperation shot at the buzzer missed the mark.
Ziaira Doe had 19 points, Andy Anderson scored 18, Bundy had 16 and Reynolds finished with 10. Bria McCarthy added six points and Callie Haertel had four for the Eagles, who host Bible Baptist at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Beaufort Academy 42, Thomas Heyward Academy 34: Miranda Weslake had 27 points, including 20 in the second half, to power the Eagles to the road win.
Sydney Glassberg led the Rebels with 15 points, and Ellie Bryan scored 11.
The Rebels (5-8, 1-2 SCISAA Region 1-AA ) next play at Bible Baptist on Tuesday.
Summerville 72, Beaufort High 24: The Eagles dropped to 0-2 in Region 8-AAAA with the loss at Summerville.
Amber Britton had eight points to lead Beaufort High (3-11 overall), which plays in the Charleston area again at 6 p.m. Saturday in a non-region game at Burke.
Ashley Green had 13 points to lead Summerville.
Whale Branch 51, Bethune-Bowman 46: Kemoni Jenkins scored 17 points as the Warriors fought off Bethune-Bowman on the road to stay unbeaten in Region 5-A.
Cheyenne Rogers chipped in 10 points, Nichole Smalls scored nine and Jonae Riley had eight for Whale Branch (11-5 overall, 3-0 region), which plays at Allendale-Fairfax on Tuesday.
Northwood Academy 87, Hilton Head Prep 16: Kendall Smith finished with 14 of her team's 16 points in a loss in North Charleston.
Hilton Head Prep (3-10, 0-5 region), which only scored two points in the first half, hosts Porter-Gaud next Friday.
Amber Campbell scored 23 points to lead the Chargers.
