Beaufort Academy 31, Andrew Jackson 24: Miranda Weslake scored 21 to lead the Eagles (3-3) to the victory.
"It was the defense that won the game for us," Beaufort Academy coach Brock Vaigneur said, citing the play of Hope Gray and Carli Cline.
The Eagles play next weekend at a tournament in Ehrhardt.

Colleton Prep 53, Thomas Heyward Academy 22: The Rebels fell in the first round of their Coca-Cola Classic.
Ellie Bryan had 13 points and Sydney Glassberg added four for Thomas Heyward, which will face St. Andrew's at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the consolation game.
Laura Reynolds scored 19 points to lead Colleton Prep, which faces Dorchester Academy in the championship game at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Ross Walker had 12 points, and Nicky Macuch scored eight for Beaufort Academy (1-6), which trailed 18-12 at halftime.
Michael Mathies scored 12 points to lead Andrew Jackson.

Bluffton 60, Colleton County 16: The Bobcats had an easy start to their Region 8-AAAA schedule, winning three matches by pin. Josh Simonson (126 pounds), Lloyd Williams (132) and Talon Seitz (145) were the Bobcats with pins.
Colleton Prep only sent wrestlers to the mat in seven weight classes, forfeiting the other seven weights.
Bluffton (9-2 overall, 1-0 region) will compete at the Cane Bay Duals on Saturday.
Timberland 42, Whale Branch 30; Whale Branch 50, Military Magnet 12: Lavar Washington (145 pounds) and Ezekiel Carter (170) each went 2-0 as the Warriors split a pair of matches. Washington had two pins.
The Warriors are 2-3.
Cardinal Newman 484, Hilton Head Prep 427 (Wednesday): The Dolphins fell Wednesday at Gamecock Lanes in Sumter. The next match is at 5 p.m. Jan. 8 against Orangeburg Prep at Gamecock Lanes in Sumter.
