Bluffton outscored Colleton County 40-36 on the road Friday night to keep its playoff hopes alive.
Alex Davis threw for three touchdowns to lead the Bobcats, including the game-winnner -- a 36-yarder to Gerald Roberson -- with about two minutes remaining. Davis' other TD passes went to Jack Aerni and Jawara Middleton.
B.J. Hill ran for two scores, and LaQuan Washington added a rushing touchdown for Bluffton (6-4, 2-2 Region 8-AAAA).
"It rained all night, heavily at the end," Bobcats coach Ken Cribb said. "But we're real happy. It was a good win."
The Bobcats are in a four-way logjam for second in the region with Beaufort High, Fort Dorchester and Ashley Ridge. At 4-0, Summerville has clinched the top spot.
"There's no way to predict what will happen," Cribb said.
Colleton County falls to 2-8, 0-4.
