Hilton Head Christian runners see first action at Bluffton Scorcher

The inaugural season of Hilton Head Christian Academy cross country got underway Saturday at the Bluffton Scorcher 5K in Hampton Hall, with the HHCA girls finishing fourth as a team behind Hilton Head Prep, Bluffton High and Hilton Head High. Senior Alyssa White and freshman Callie Haertel both had a time of 24:47. Other HHCA girls running were senior Andy Anderson (26:21), sophomore Lindsey Gillis (28:44) and freshman Macee Tamminen (28:45).
