Beaufort High 3, Bluffton 1: Santee Rabon scored a pair of goals and Josh Vellucci had another as the Eagles defeated Bluffton.
Rabon and Vellucci scored in the first half to put Beaufort High (10-7 overall, 6-3 Region 8-AAAA) ahead 2-0 at halftime. Bluffton answered with a goal early in the second half, but Rabon helped keep the Bobcats at a safe distance with his second goal of the game, with about 15 minutes remaining.
Mack Stansell made seven saves in goal for the Eagles, who host Colleton County tonight in their final region game.

Hilton Head Island High 9, Orangeburg Wilkinson 0: Chip Tremarelli and Koben Barrientos had three goals apiece in the blowout.
Alvaro Cancha, Kebin Lopez and Steven Rendon added one goal apiece, and Conner Goulet got the shutout in net for the Seahawks (15-4 overall, 6-1 Region 8-AAA), which plays at Hanahan on Thursday.
Beaufort Academy 4, Cathedral Academy 2: Nicky Macuch scored twice to help the Eagles stay undefeated in their region.
Clay Melville and Andrew Gray also had goals, and goalkeeper Reyn Robinson had five saves for Beaufort Academy (11-1 overall, 9-0 region), which hosts St. Andrew's at 6 p.m. tonight.

Beaufort High 3, Bluffton 0: Claire Martin, Katie Miller and Alex Zapp scored to lift the Eagles to victory over their new Region 8-AAAA rival.
Beaufort goalkeepers Kayla King and Kayley Gilbert combined for 11 saves in the shutout.
Beaufort High (6-7-2 overall, 5-3 region) hosts Colleton County at 7 p.m. tonight.
Hilton Head Prep 4, Northwood Academy 0 (Monday): Halie Parker scored three goals and Foster Willey added another as the Dolphins got back to the .500 mark on the season.
Cori Leonard had two assists and Maren Czura had one for Prep (8-8 overall, 4-6 region). The Dolphins used three goalkeepers in the shutout -- Katie Cadden, Emily Lacombe and Kate Herman.
The Dolphins host Pinewood Prep at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Hilton Head Island High 6, Hanahan 0: The Seahawks coasted to another Region 8-AAA victory. Hilton Head High (10-2 overall, 10-0 region) hosts Bishop England at 4 p.m. today in a non-region match, and then wraps up region play Thursday with a home match against Berkeley.

Thomas Heyward 16, Bible Baptist 1, 4 innings: JD Tuten (2-0) struck out five over 2 2/3 innings of one-hit relief.
Zach Newton was the Rebel's star at the plate, going 2 for 2 with a home run, a triple, three runs scored and three RBIs.
Also for Thomas Heyward, Forrest Richardson was 2 for 3, Connor Driscoll was 3 for 4, Kyle Roach 2 for 3 and Brennan Fleury was 2 for 4.
The Rebels (10-5) host Calhoun at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Hilton Head Prep 10, First Baptist 6: Tyler Fox went six innings. allowing four hits and striking out four for the win and went 2 for 3 with an RBI at the plate.
Also at the plate for the Dolphins (14-4, 7-1), John Sheehan went 2 for 2 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Jake Martin was 2 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored, Marcus Hindall was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and J.T. Marbut was 2 for 3 with two runs scored.
Hilton Head Prep hists Northwood at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. A win ties Northwood for the SCISAA Region 3-AAA title.
TRACK & FIELD
Region 8-AAA: Hilton Head Island High's boys won seven region titles and qualified 13 for the Lower State meet as they won the region championship on Tuesday at Berkeley High School.
The Seahawks scored 167 points to the 135 of Hanahan and 134 of Berkeley.
Jack Manesiotis won three region titles (1,600, 3,200, 4x800), while Michael Julian qualified in four events, with region titles in two (first in long jump, fourth in 200, second in 400, first in 4x400).
Robbie Iulo won the 800 in 1:58, the second best time in the state this year.
The girls finished fourth, qualifying eight for Lower State and winning the 800, 1,600, 4x800 and 4x400 events.
Thomas Heyward Academy 4, Bluffton 2 (Monday): Rebels pitcher Selice Daley struck out 10 and allowed three hits to earn the win against the Bobcats.
Sydney Glassburg was 1 for 2 and Morgan Peeples was 1 for 3 with an RBI to help lead Thomas Heyward.
Bluffton's Courtney Smith struck out eight in the loss.
Thomas Heyward plays Colleton Prep on Monday to begin the final week of the SCISAA regular season.
