Battery Creek: The Dolphins boys ran in a 10-team meet hosted by Bishop England, and coach Tyrone Pierce was pleased to see his runners' times continue to improve. Erik Barbosa led the Dolphins with an 11th-place finish, running the 5K in 18 minutes, 52 seconds. Also running for Battery Creek were: Luis Castillo (21st, 19:47), Raheem Cooper (30th, 20:24), Michael Evans (36th, 20:48), Josh Williams (37th, 20:54), Jihad Muhammad (49th, 21:45), Willie Brown (63rd, 23:27), Wendell Roberson (80th, 25:22) and David Partridge (87th, 27:32).
