Two years ago, Margo Dill made one of the most difficult adjustments of her basketball career -- after growing up as a post player, Hilton Head High asked her to play guard for the first time in her life.
Dill took the assignment as a challenge, one she greatly surpassed. She led the Seahawks in scoring in both her junior and senior seasons, developing one of the area's best outside shots along the way.
So it's no wonder that she expects her next transition to run a little more smoothly. Dill signed a letter of intent Friday to attend Spartanburg Methodist College to play basketball next season.
Dill said she will play guard in college, most likely shooting guard.
Never miss a local story.
"I'm going to continue to work really hard this summer," Dill said. "I still definitely need to improve my ball-handling. ... I think I grew a lot as a player in high school. I think my shot has improved over the years."
