Beaufort’s Tommy Holloway finished runner-up at the Patriot Invitational, hosted by Fort Dorchester.
The two-day event wrapped up Monday.
Holloway finished with a 7-over, 151, two shots behind Carolina Forest’s Chris Fortenberry. As a team, Beaufort finished eighth with a team score of 667. Myrtle Beach won the tournament by 15 shots over Lexington.
Other Beaufort golfers were Max Kase (168), Jerry Bruns (173) and Riley Kase (175).

Olivia Turpin was 3-for-3 with three RBI in the Sharks’ season-opening win.
May River had 12 hits. Kylee Gleason added three hits and Kayla Bradley was 2-for-2 with an RBI.

Stratton Pollitzer had three hits and four RBI, and Matt Mebane had three hits and drove in four runs for the Seahawks.

The Seahawks jumped out to a 9-1 halftime lead to improve to 4-0 on the season.
Eight different Lady Seahawks scored, led by Trinity Feltner with three goals, five groundballs and two turnovers along with Lexie Locker with 3 goals and one assist. Katie Bennett, Lara Martel and Lily Neiderer each scored two goals
The Seahawks will next travel to power Bishop England on Thursday.
