Pursuers fail to catch Patterson at weather-shortened Hilton Head Open

John Patterson's 67 on Saturday at Bear Creek Club was good enough to win the weather-shortened Hilton Head Open. Those who didn't get their rounds in Saturday tried to chase down Patterson on Sunday. Adam Lescalleet, from Long Cove Club, finished second overall with a 68. He won the professionals division and $1,400.
