A roundup of Saturday's action at the Dixie Ponytails World Series at Oscar J. Frazier Park in Bluffton:
Drayton Siegling drove in two to lead South Carolina, which plated eight runs in the second inning.
Wewahitchka (Fla.) 9, Slocomb (Ala.) 3: Florida, keyed by Sha'Mario Cole's home run to lead off the game, scored five runs in the first and cruised to the victory.
Blossom (Texas) 16, Hope (Ark.) 7: Texas slugged its way to a nine-run victory after posting a four-spot in the first inning and cruising from there. Arkansas pulled with a run midway through the game but its pitching staff couldn't stave off Texas' hot bats.
West Monroe National (La.) 8, Columbia County 7 (Ga.): Louisiana rallied from three runs down in the final two innings to claim a walk-off victory over Georgia. Kati Young brought home the winning run on a sacrifice fly to right field, scoring Kayla Cory from third base. Cory had driven home the tying run earlier in the inning.
Amelia (Va.) 10, Columbia Dean Griner (Miss. 9): Virginia came out on top in a wild, back-and-forth affair that saw two huge innings dictate the outcome. After spotting Virginia a 3-0 lead, Mississippi rallied back with a three-spot in the fifth, jumpstarted by Lauren Rowley, who scored from third on a wild pitch. Virginia responded with seven runs to take a commanding 10-3 lead only to see Mississippi roar back in the bottom of the sixth. The club pulled within one on a base hit to left only to see the tying run tagged out at home plate to end the game.
