IJGT HITS OYSTER REEF
The International Junior Golf Tour hosted the two-day, 36-hole IJGT Classic this past weekend at Oyster Reef Golf Club on Hilton Head Island.
GeunTae Kim won the Boys 15-19 Division with rounds of 75 and 74.
In the Boys Under 14 Division, Walker Campbell fired back-to-back rounds of 80 to edge Hank Haney IJGA student Kevin Ying. Hank Haney IJGA student Moyu Sasaki (Japan) posted rounds of 77 to defeat classmate Rei Nakatani (Japan) by five strokes.
JPGA DOMINATES AT JEKYLL
Junior Players Golf Academy student Oliver Lehmann shot a 4-under-par 140 over two days to win the boys 15-18 age division at the Major Championship at Jekyll at Jekyll Island (Ga.) Golf Course-Pines. Winner of the girls 15-18 division and recipient of the much coveted AJGA performance stars was Isidora Quevedo of Chile (JPGA student).
