The Cherry Hill Plantation live oak was recognized as the 2013 Heritage Tree by TreesSC during a small ceremony the morning of Dec. 10, 2013 off Oak View Drive in Beaufort. The tree, which is the largest in Beaufort County, is estimated to be between 350 and 400 years old.
