What I gleaned from an Oct. 16 letter titled "Letter wrong about Democrats" is that you can't criticize or comment about President Obama or Democrats' policies without being called a racist, a bigot or being considered ignorant.
The writer claims to be an independent but resorts to name calling rather than facts. Let's review:
1. Uniformed/Misinformed Followers: According to some surveys, most people interviewed on the street (including college students) cannot name the vice president, have no idea who George Washington was or why the Civil War was fought or who bombed Pearl Harbor. Many of these respondents voted for Obama.
2. When Obama was elected, I believe that many of his supporters expected him to pay their rent, utility and phone bills. Some received free phones.
3. ID required to vote: Democrats claim it's discriminatory and yet no one can be admitted to a hospital, get welfare, food stamps, travel, buy liquor, obtain a driver's license, receive unemployment insurance checks or even be admitted into the White House without having an ID. And yet Democrats do not want to require it for voting.
4. Unions and environmentalists: Laws passed by Democrats are favorable to these groups. Obama refuses to approve the Keystone pipeline, which would be instrumental in reducing energy costs for all Americans.
Additionally, Obama and the Democrats have lied to the American people about Obamacare, the Veterans Administration scandal, the IRS investigation, Benghazi, etc.
These are just a few facts, Americans. Think before you vote for any Democrat.
