No one likes a power outage. Presumably those for which this would be a serious event are prepared with a backup source. The loss for most of us in inconvenient and time related. The longer the outage, the more inconvenient.
My thoughts in our last outage became focused on those men and women of the power companies who have to find and then fix the problem. For the most part, the weather is usually horrible and even dangerous.
These folks are the unsung heroes and whatever they're paid probably isn't commensurate to the hazardous job.
Never miss a local story.
