County should rethink hours at trash centers

I read the article about the change of days and hours for the recycling centers in Beaufort County. I am sure most people will not mind the change in the number of days open. However, opening at 9 a.m. and staying open to 7 p.m. makes no sense. Most people go to work and need to drop off their trash on the way there -- 9 a.m. is too late for them. I cannot imagine them keeping the trash in their cars and trucks all day and dropping it off on their way home. Things would reek by then.
