Recently a published letter accurately stated that Shelter Cove Towne Centre looks like "Anytown, USA." That observation must have surprised the town's Planning Commission.
Now after numerous previous concessions, the Shelter Cove developer is back, requesting concessions to build additional high-end apartments that are taller. Did the developer really believe 1,000 square-foot apartments would be high-end at their initial plan submission? More importantly, did our town officials believe that? With all the development activity currently being litigated, discussed and in progress, one wonders who is fooling who.
