Chamber should launch I-95 billboard campaign

The newspaper reported that a website poll ranked Hilton Head Island's beaches second in the country. On a recent trip down Interstate 95 from Hilton Head Island to Jacksonville, I noticed billboards promoting Savannah and the beaches of the Georgia Golden Isles. With such a high traffic count on I-95, the Hilton Head-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce should similarly promote our beaches, recreational facilities (including more than 20 area golf courses) and nationally recognized events such as the RBC Heritage tournament and the Concours d'Elegance.
