Partisan politics seeping in everywhere

If you wonder why veterans don't get the service they deserve, check out the recent Wall Street Journal article by Kimberly A. Strassel. According to the article, in 2012, the VA had 258 full-time employees who were receiving full pay and benefits to do only union work. Seventeen had six-figure salaries up to $132,000 in 2012. According to the office of personnel management, the VA paid for 988,000 hours for official time in fiscal year 2011 -- a 23 percent increase from 2010. Of course they have 200,000 members who vote the right way. This happens in too many federal, state and local unions.
