On March 11, I read an article in the newspaper about the President's Advisory Council recommending that financial education be taught to students starting as as early as prekindergarten.
I certainly agree that this type of education is needed. What I find absurd is that a council coming from the president's office should be able to comment on what our youth needs when they cannot manage their own finances.
Have we, as a country, not spent more than $17 trillion more then the money we have earned?
What business could ever survive with this type of economic behavior? But then again, only the government has its own printing press.
Never miss a local story.
