Can any reader explain dispassionately the difference between a good liberal person and a good conservative person.? I'm no referring to the way they behave, but why they behave as they do.
What's in their hearts and souls? What makes each tick? Remember, for the sake of this exercise, you must assume they are each good people. And you can't use any value-laden words and phrases such as "stronger," "better," "more compassionate," "generous" or "courageous" I'm looking for just a dry, intellectual analysis, please.
I suspect the differences are psychological and have to do with the way we view human nature -- but we have a devil of a time defining those differences.
