Reduction in the military budget weakens nation

The Secretary of Defense has proposed to cut the military budget to pre-World War II levels. These reductions will result in less manpower and a push back in training, equipment and the readiness level necessary to meet mission requirements -- much like what occurred when military forces were drastically cut following World War I and II, Korea and Vietnam.
