Time for S.C. to get serious about ethics

As an involved citizen of South Carolina, I am 100 percent for transparency in our state's government. So why is it that we still have some members of our Legislature that do not support ethics reform? I am pleased to report my representative, Andy Patrick, along with his three fellow representatives from Beaufort County, Bill Herbkersman, Shannon Erickson and Weston Newton, did vote for the ethics reform bill. And my state senator, Tom Davis, voted to place the bill for immediate consideration by the SC Senate when it reconvenes in January.
