Some months ago, the newspaper printed a letter of mine in which I wrote about the plethora of attorney and law firm ads that we see daily while watching TV programming. Well, I still feel the same way about the subject, however; I do feel that credit should be given where due.
One lone attorney, Michael Hostilo, has reached into his own pocket to produce advertisements that show the possible effects of texting and driving. They are very effective advertisements, I must add. Now this gentleman could profit from the results of accidents precipitated by this foolish act of texting while driving as he represents innocent individuals who may be harmed as a result of this act. But in this case, he is doing the right thing. Kudos to attorney Hostilo. Why are there no more of his colleagues following suit? We should recognize him for his act and urge others to do the same.
